this was pretty much my first drawing, my first encounter with the inner most parts of me… so to speak.
word to your moms. lately i haven’t been wanting to participate in my internet life. i really try to use my social networking sites as tools to promote and showcase all of my creative endeavors…i’ve found it’s impossible to tweet, tumbl, and facebook without consciously taking in what others are posting as well…
lately i feel like everyone uses social networking to promote and showcase capitalism, their own over consumption, and egotistical mannerisms. that shit is detrimental to a gentle spirit like mine.
We are not how much money we’ve got in the bank. We’re not our jobs. we’re not our familes, and we’re not who we tell ourselves we are…. we’re not our names…. we’re not our problems…. we’re not our age…. and we’re not our hopes. We just are.
Each of us a catalyst for change.
